YOGA. Begins When You Step OFF Your Mat

YOGA IS A WAY OF LIFE, IT’S NOT AN EXERCISE CLASS.

TRUE YOGA BEGINS WHEN YOU STEP OFF OF YOUR MAT, AND INTO THE WORLD

“Yoga is a dance between control and surrender — between pushing and letting go — and when to push and to let go becomes part of the creative process, part of the open-ended exploration of your well-being “

Yoga truly begins when we step off our mats and into our days.

How you carry yourself throughout life is a direct reflection of your internal wellbeing. If our inside is unsteady or in a state of unrest our outside will only know that as our reality.

Yoga teaches us how to “Control and Surrender”.

How to control our breath, how to control our thoughts, and how to surrender to what IS and what IS NOT. How to accept what is in our control and to surrender to what is not. How to push to our edge but to notice when we have reached it, and to let go  of the need to push past it. It teaches us how to accept and meet ourselves exactly where we are.

“You cannot always control what goes on outside, but you can always control what goes on inside.”

Yoga teaches us that we are only in control of ourselves, and to focus purely on finding peace and acceptance with that. To bring our best self to each day, and not to be affected by the actions thoughts and words of others…. This is not an easy task, I admit. Which simply means we need more YOGA.

True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.

Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you can not help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy, it’s physics. – Albert Einstein

I wish you a beautiful judgment free practice, both on and off your mats…

You are absolutely perfect in all of your imperfections. You are capable of everything. Your dreams and goals are worthy of your time love and dedication. Your thoughts and opinions are valuable. You have so much to offer our world, please do not sit back and watch…

Find your stillness and peace on your mat and please, please share it .

Namaste,

Ky
