I love exercising, I really do, BUT I don’t always love being in the gym for an hour ( or sometimes more). Don’t get me wrong, I love that sometimes but not everyday is designed for a lengthy gym sesh. I travel a fair bit and do my very best to get a sweat on no matter where I am.
As I write this I am away from home and for the next 3 days will be out of my typical routine. I wanted to share a quick full body HIIT workout that you can do anywhere:)
*HIIT : High Intensity Interval Training
Using an interval timer ( I use GYMBOSS which is FREE ( i think lol)
Set your interval for 15 rounds of 50 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest.
You can do this with NOTHING other than your own body HOWEVER if you have these tools, add them in for a bit of a more challenging workout
SKIPPING ROPE & BOSU BALL
- Skipping ( or high knees)
- Squat overs on bosu ( or squat jumps)
- Mt climbers ( on or off boss)
- Legs elevated crunch ( on or off boss)
- Burpee ( bosu press up)
- REPEAT IMMEDIATELY
- 2 reverse lunge / split lunge
- Push ups ( on or off bosu)
- Skipping (or high knees)
This is a 15 minute workout if followed as written. Feel free to rest 2-3 minutes after the 15 minutes and repeat for a 30 minute workout.
