Medicinal Mushroom Fudge

Not the extra special kinda mushrooms…. but these ones are pretty great too 🙂

 

CHAGA , known as the King of Medicinal mushrooms, is the second most antioxidant rich food, next kt buto chocolate….. (so I obviously used my Four Sigmatic Mushroom Mocha Mix to make this EXTRA delicious and medicinal)

WHY CHAGA ?

Chaga contains a compound by the name of BETUALIN, which helps lower cholesterol and balance blood sugar by increasing insulin sensitivity. THIS MEANS, Improved Cardiovascular health and Metabolic health.

Chaga has such a high level of antioxidants which help fight off free radical, preventing cellular damage and acts as a HUGE anti inflammatory agent.

Chaga, due to the high level of antioxidants also supports cellular regeneration, leading to protection against cellular damage and or genetic mutation.

Chaga is an excellent detoxifying agent with it’s high level of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) and is known for it’s power in cleansing the liver.

 

Chaga mushrooms are renowned for their ability to improve the immune system function.

Chaga is also a strong antibacterial and antiviral making it very useful in recovering from cold and flu.

Lastly, chaga contains melanin, which fights radiation and tumors……

 

OKAY THE FUDGE…. WHAT’S IN THE FUDGE

 

MOMENT OF TRUTH… I didn’t measure anything 😉

 

Apron  1/2 C  FATSO COCOA NUT BUTTER ( You can use any nut butter)

Aprox  2 Tbsp Coconut Oil

Gently melt both ingredients in sauce pan over low heat

Add aprox 3-4 Tbsp Maple Syrup

splash Vanilla

aprox 3-4 Tbsp Chia Seeds

4 packets MUSHROOM MOCHA MIX

 

I melted it all together and poured into a shallow 8X8 dish

Freeze 20 -30 minutes , chop it up,

EAT IT UP !!!
