“He may love you. He probably does.
He probably thinks about you all the time.
But that isn’t what matters. What matters is what He’s doing about it,
and what He’s doing about it is nothing .
And if he’s doing nothing, you most certainly shouldn’t do anything.
You need someone who goes out of their way to make it obvious that they want you in their life”
We’ve all been there…. Or maybe you are one of the lucky ones who has never held their breathe for someone to love them back, who has never lost the feeling in their legs when someone said they didn’t want them or had to watch them walk out of your life. I’d like to say I hope you never have to feel that pain, but the truth is….I hope you do.
I hope you DO feel your heart break, so that you recognize the unexplainable feelings that good love brings you.
I hope you experience heart break because it means you’ve given your heart fully to another human, you’ve opened your soul, you’ve allowed someone in and you LOVED.
This is why we are here… We are here to love…
To Love BIG
To Love FULLY
and to Love OFTEN
Having said that, there are some of us….myself VERY MUCH INCLUDED who could do themselves a favour and learn to accept ONLY the love we deserve and to allow all others to pass by, gracefully.
Men or Women, whomever you are looking to love, please only accept the love that goes the distance, that shows up, that reaches out, that puts in the time, puts in the effort . Only accept the love that doesn’t leave you guessing, doesn’t make you question your thoughts, needs and desires. Only accept the love that lifts you up, that backs you up, supports your goals, holds you accountable and calms your storms. Only accept the love that leaves your belly sore from laughing your eyes wet from crying … from the laughing, Accept the love who has food fights with you at midnight, and brings you coffee in bed in the morning. Accept the love who always asks how your day was… and wants to hear the answer, who follows through with their word, always.
Accept only the love that reassures you of your insecurities rather than gives you insecurities, a love that looks at you in a way that strangers will know they are in love with you.
Accept the love that doesn’t keep track of who owes who, or places blame in challenging times. Accept the love that is soft and gentle, never makes you feel like a second thought, and brings a smile to your face when you think of them.
Accept only the best…. and then give them EVERYTHING you have…
And in the adventure in finding this beautiful love, be DAMN SURE that you are also this person.
